What a surprise to notice the sign as we were touring the Cascades at the weekend and heading back towards Vancouver having just crossed the border at Osoyoos. Our family has just returned from a family reunion in Nebraska, where my husband took our train-loving son to the Union Pacific Railroad Museum and the Railswest Railroad Museum and HO Model Railroad in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Our son was in heaven. On the way home, we stopped at the Golden Spike National Historic Site in Promontory, Utah. We had no idea "Jupiter" and the "119" were such an important part of history. We had just seen them in the kids train books. Our son - who is 4 1/2 - was overwhelmed, shaking with emotion. Next week, We're driving up to Osoyoos for our Canadian family reunion, and were going to visit you. Our whole family is becoming train enthusiasts, thanks to our little boy. We look forward - very much - to seeing you this summer.

Called in by chance, my wife spotted the sign as we headed West out of Osoyoos. What good luck that was!!!! One of the most spectacular layouts I've seen in many years, great credit to Poul and Ulla, "well done". The detail is truely amazing, and the setting at night has to been seen, pictures do not do it justice. One word of warning though, please allow yourselves plenty of time to view the whole layout, you'll always find more to see and time will just fly by. Again, thankyou Poul and Ulla for your kind and friendly welcome, a real pleasure....all the very best.......regards Ian and family.....
