The decision to do so has been a hard one for us to come to, but after 18 years of having fun running the business, it is time for a new chapter in our lives. Retirement is calling us, and with all the restrictions put on us by the Government due to COVID, it Is very hard to be a small business owner.
We are tremendously grateful and thankful for all the support received from TV programs such as The Amazing Race, Canada and KSPS, various news papers and magazine articles and TripAdvisor, but mostly from all our loyal customers. Some have come to visit us faithfully every year on their holidays in Osoyoos since we opened our doors in 2003. Others have found their way from all around the world, and it has been a joy to meet all of you.

The Osoyoos Desert Model Railroad is Canada's largest Marklin lay-out, with up to 45 computer controlled trains running through very detailed landscaping with European style towns and houses. Come step into a WORLD CLASS miniature fantasy world!
As something completely different we have a car system running on some roads and we are the only public display in North America with that feature. So come check it out - it is like magic!

If you would like a unique experience on your trip through Osoyoos, drop by the railroad display and have a look. Caution: Train Buffs of all ages have been known to become slightly mesmerized by the volume of exquisite detail available to be seen!
We have 4000 square feet of family fun with multiple computer-controlled trains running simultaneously on over two kilometers of HO Scale track (about 1 1/4 of a mile)!

Our Story
As a kid Poul always wanted to have a train set, but the dream never came true. When he became an adult he never forgot his dream and he started to collect Marklin trains. After marriage to Ulla and later one child, Lotte, he became really serious about his trains.
